Wiz Khalifa's Battle Royale :

Wiz Khalifa's 'Black and Yellow' Battle Royale :

Today's back-alley brawl involves three highly differing versions of the "Black and Yellow" beat that Wiz Khalifa's brought up to the top of the charts with him.

You tell us : Which one do you fancy most?

First up, courtesy of the Pied Pipes :

Crooked I - "Black and Yellow (Freestyle)"

vs.

Wiz Khalifa - "Black and Yellow (Mister Gray Dubstep Mash-Up)"

vs.

Lil' Wayne - "Green and Yellow"

---

We dig all of these on an individual level, with the best lyrical flow going to Crooked I, the best production going to the Mister Gray dub-edition, and with the funniest use of metaphors going to Weezy, as usual.

What're you thinkin'? May do more of these in the future, just to spice it up.

Lil Wayne Avoids Another Tax Lien

lil-wayne-1-million-dollars-26-ans-L-2
Last June, the IRS filed a one-point-two-million-dollar tax lien against the rap superstar in Dade County, Florida Circuit Court for taxes owed from the years 2004, 2005, and 2007. According to AllHipHop.com, Weezy took care of the debt back in December by paying the bill in full. This isn’t the first time that Lil Wayne has faced tax problems. He also had a lien filed against him in 2008. The rapper took care of the issue in a matter of months by paying more than 977-thousand-dollars in back taxes. Lil Wayne is all squared away with Uncle Sam...for now anyway. Weezy is currently working on his upcoming album, “Tha Carter Four,” due in stores later this year. He’s also set to kick off a North American tour on March 18th with a show in Buffalo, New York.

Lil Wayne Supports The Pack

One of our writers Mike posted on Facebook how much he hated seeing this all over people's status.  I am now posting in on SNO Tap because I love it and hope to hear this instead of Wiz's song at the bars this weekend. Here starts the Super Bowl weekend coverage heading to the grocery store to drop some coin on Super Bowl day dinner.

Lil Wayne Cover Rolling Stone

Lil Wayne  covers Rolling Stone which will hit news stands January 21st. Inside, he reveals his beef with Heat Players Lebron and Dwyane Wade. He also reveals that he is a master in UNO, he loves reading the bible and he could have landed in even more trouble in prison if another inmate didn’t take the rap for him. Check the excerpts:
On Lebron & D Wade Ignoring Him At The Miami Heat/New Orleans Game
“Them n*ggas never speak to a n*gga,” he says. “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. N*gga spent all that money on them f*cking tickets… Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b*tch-ass n*ggas. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”
On The Bible
“I also read the Bible for the first time. It was deep! I liked the parts where some character was once this, but he ended up being that. Like he’d be dissing Jesus, and then he ends up being a saint. That was cool.”
On Another Inmate taking the Rap For His Watch With An MP3 Player On It & Solitary Confinement
“He was a solid n*gga! Shout-out to Charles…Solitary was the worst. No TV. No radio. No commissary. Basically you’re in there 23 hours a day.” The only upside was he had a window where he could watch cars go by. “I used to sit at that motherf*cker all day!”
It seems as if he was semi-productive while doing his time on the island. I can't wait to hear the Carter IV to find out if he really put the time to good use. Peep the video from the photo shoot.

Lil Wayne Does Not Like Dark Skinned Women

Via Nicole Bitchie Mail:
Destiny wrote:
My friend Tammy is a model she had a couple of photo shoots to go to in miami ..after going to her photoshoots we met up with mack maine from young money, he then took us to a hotel a couple of other girls were there and so was lil wayne, guda guda, lil chuckee, and birdman. My friend Tammy is light skin and me and my friend jessica are dark skinned chicks, when we entered the room guda guda was like “damn ya’ll pretty to be dark skin” and then wayne quoted a verse from one of his songs that said “Beautiful Black Woman i bet that b*tch look better red”.
I heard the song before and i was offended when i heard the lyrics i brushed my feelings off and forgot about what the gremlin said, but him saying it over again made me angry as hell, tammy was looking in shock and jessica was clearly upset ,so me being the outspoken person that i am i said Wayne your daughter is dark skin so why would u say such ignorance. he then said “my daughter is a dark skin millionaire thats the difference between her and u”. Is this fool serious?
I can tell he was very upset because i brought his daughter up but that is no excuse for what he said next he stated “MY daughter is the first and last dark skin child im having, the rest of my baby moms light skin chicks i even got an asian baby moms to make sure i have a daughter with good hair, too bad we had a son”, everybody start laughing and me and jessica stormed out of the room and some guys followed us saying “not everybody hate dark skin girls Young Money just allergic to Chocolate”, of course me and my girls cursed them out..
I will never buy or listen to young money songs again and the rest of the dark skin girls shouldnt buy them either! F*CKN JERK
I'm shocked but I can't say that I'm surprised.

Lil Wayne...Access Denied

Lil Wayne showed up in Las Veags last Saturday night and jumped on stage with Drake in his first performance since he'd gotten out of jail. Too bad he couldn't celebrate with Drake after it was over. It turns out that the after party for Drake's concert was at the Wynn hotel and an executive decision was made to ban Lil Weezy from the event due to his current legal issues.

Thursday, November 4, 2010

The Free Weezy Campaign ended today. After doing 8 months on Rikers Island for weapons charges,  rapper and baby maker Lil Wayne was released from jail. Wayne was said to have gone straight from jail to the studio and a welcome home party has been planed for him in Miami. There are also rumors that Weezy will perform in Las Vegas with Drake this Saturday.

Cancel Any Bets on the Knicks, Michael Beasley, the Hornets, the Lakers, and Tyson Chandler Immediately

These nuggets of NBA wisdom from Lil Wayne should be more than enough evidence that anything you think must obviously be wrong.

On the Knicks:

I think they should do good. Not OK, not great, but good. Why? Mike D'Antoni, and you know how that guy runs his offense. Gotta score within seven seconds, and that's exciting. If he gets to work over those players right there, I'm betting on his scheme and the way he coaches to say that there's no way an unsuccessful team could come out of that...I love the move they made naming my hometown dude Chris Duhon the starting point guard over Stephon Marbury...So shout out to Chris Duhon, you're the man.
On Michael Beasley:

I'm a Beasley fan. He's straight up. He's real. He plays with emotion and drive and physicality. He gets to where he needs to be on the court. And when he gets to his spot, if he's not gonna shoot it in your face man, he's gonna dunk it in your face. And if he's not gonna dunk it in your face he's gonna dish it to the next man. There's not a player in the game like Michael Beasley. His upper body strength is amazing. He could play center. I don't know if people know that, but that kid could play center.
On the Lakers and the Hornets:

This is a touchy subject for me. Probably the touchiest in all of sports. I'm tearing up as I think about it now. As you guys know, the Hornets are from my hometown, and Chris Paul and Kobe are my boys. When they play each other, I just sit there. I don't know what to do. When the Hornets score, I scream. When Kobe scores, I scream. One one of those teams will make the Western Conference finals, but I can't answer who that will be. I have no answer. It's just too touchy for me. It's too upsetting to think about one team not making it.
On Tyson Chandler:

As far as Tyson Chandler goes, no way he's gonna have an off-year. Those days are way behind him. He's a great player. He's one of the rare guys who came out of high school years ago who made it and is still amazing and just getting better. It's really scary to say, but his opponents can't stop him.

Sorry if you had any sort of hope for these teams and players, but Lil Wayne just can't be trusted. After all, he truly believes he's the best rapper alive.
