Wendy Williams Has Two Covers For Essence Magazine's Girlfriends Issue

Wendy Williams gets two covers for Essence magazine’s first-ever Girlfriends Issue. Wendy dishes about friendship, family and the driving force behind her appeal. “I know I make some people cringe. But I also know my willingness to expose myself, warts and all, is part of the reason people are drawn to me. With me, what you see is what you get.” Essence will also declare April 13th as “Girlfriends Appreciation Day” in honor of “besties” everywhere. Celebrity besties featured in the issue includes: Monica and Keyshia Cole; Kelly Rowland and Brandy; Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah; Sherri Shepherd and Niecy Nash;  Beyonce and Tina Knowles. I'm waiting for my copies, this will be interesting.

Wendy Williams Sued By Promoter

 

Talk show host Wendy Williams has been sued by a concert promoter who claims he paid Wendy $25,000 to appear at an Atlantic City resort. The promoter says Wendy ordered up expensive booze and acted ungrateful at the event. According to the lawsuit … Williams was supposed to make a 2-hour appearance to take the mic on stage, but instead retreated to a cabana at The Pool at Harrah’s Resort.  The suit claims Williams hardly mingled with guests and left after only an hour, after complaining how she and her husband wanted to leave. Williams “disappointed her fans who came out expecting her to host the party.” And the suit alleges … Williams — who is on “Dancing with the Stars” and hosts her own show –  demanded 4 bottles of Ace of Spades champagne and 2 bottles of white wine at her cabana.

Wendy Williams Signs On For DWTS

Wendy Williams is reportedly going to appear on the next season of Dancing With The Stars. The NY Post is reporting her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, will go on hiatus to accommodate her appearing on DWTS.

Vivacious talk-show giant Wendy Williams will try her two-step as a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” Page Six has learned. “The Wendy Williams Show” will go on hiatus while she participates next month. Ample-cleavaged Williams — who would no doubt look great in the show’s trademark sparkly outfits — has been critical of other contestants on the dance competition, especially wooden Kate Gosselin,who she said “dances awkward and horrible.”  – Source

 I can't wait to see this. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that Wendy has a mean lil two step. I can't wait to hear who else is expected for next season. I'll keep you posted on that when information is released.
