"An NBA spokesman confirms that the league is investigating Jay-Z's presence in Kentucky's locker room after the Wildcats clinched a Final Four berth.

The rapper visited the players after their victory over North Carolina on Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J, home of the Nets. Jay-Z is a part-owner of the team and attended the Nets' 120-116 loss at New York on Wednesday.

NBA rules prohibit team personnel from having contact with players who are not yet draft eligible, and spokesman Tim Frank told the Associated Press the league".

Crazy, crazy, crazy. Looks like nobody's safe from the sanctions of the NCAA's.

The line up for the 2011 Essence Music Fest in New Orleans has just been announced and Kanye West is at the top of the bill. Also schedule to perform this year are Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Trey Songz, Charlie Wilson, Fantasia, Boyz II Men, Stephanie Mills, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Macy Gray, Dwele, Alexander O'Neal & Cherrelle, Mint Condition, Kelly Price, and M.C. Lyte.

Kanye West takes the phrase “Put your money where your mouth is” to a whole new level on the cover of next month’s V Magazine.  Fashion guru, Karl Lagerfeld shot Kanye West for the issue which will include a real $1 dollar bill in Yeezy’s mouth….well if you’re lucky. One out of every 10 copies comes with the real deal.  The others show Kanye with a $100 bill hanging out of his mouth.

Yesterday, I checked out SNL -- a rebroadcast of the 10/2/10 filming.

As a sort of retaliation to Blogger for deleting my link to the new Kanye album, the Industry has decided to post the two performances that Mr. West performed on SNL.

Quality stuff -- Kanye's an entertainer for sure. Hate if you will, but you can't deny his producing legacy.
