Hold That Tiger - Our Official Hip-Hop Instrumental EP

Captain Captain Industries - Hold That Tiger (EP)

March 6th marks the first ever digital release from Captain Captain Industries, and it comes correct with a four-song set and some album art. Get 'em while they're hot.

Free EP download, courtesy of our gang of subscribers.

Note : All songs are original pieces - but no worries; I advise some freestylin', remixin', or what else you all can throw at me. The only thing I ask? If you top the charts with one of these beats, it'd be sick if you bought me this.

Edit : The download page looks different for some users. Note that some users may have to download these tracks individually. Nothing personal, guys. :)

Tuesday Update

What up, everyone? Well, two weeks into 2011, and we finally get a reasonable amount of snow here @ The Industry, complimenting how cold it was to see Oregon lose on the national stage by a chip-shot field goal. Whatev's. The Ducks will be back next season. You'll see!

In other news, Fooch confirms via FaceBook that the Purple Asteroid Cadillac will be featured in WWS Mag this evening, and their packin' an interview! Also, this Saturday at 1:30 P.M., the Marvell Gable Show will be counting down their top twenty-five indie artists of 2010, and the P.A.C. made the cut -- catch the MGS and the Purple Asteroid Cadillac on WGCR's official website to see where they place. Big upcoming year for Fooch and the whole P.A.C. crew, as 2010 last saw them perform at a Def Jam showcase in Ohio.

Lane Weaver also confirms up to three tracks for the soon-to-be-arranged Captain Captain Industries Official Mixtape : Vol. I. We're super stoked to release that. Now I bet you all are too.

Our new demo's going over nicely, as we had a pretty nice crowd peepin' C.C.I. yesterday, and I assumed at least one or two people picked it up. Like I said though, it's completely a demo. Not sure if that'll even make the cut for our own compilation, but y'know... I may change my mind.

A'ight y'all -- that just about does it for us this afternoon. Subscribe! 'Like' us on FB! Promooootion!

3-1, The National Title, & The Tiny Exclusive Track

The Ravens, Jets and Packers came through for me this weekend. The Saints did not, so that's 3-1 for Captain Captain Industries' NFL playoff picks for the 2011 season. I'll get to picking next week's games soon, but right now, we're closed for business today, as our Oregon Ducks are playing Cam Newton and Auburn in Glendale, AZ for the national title.

As a bonus for putting up with our holiday, we'll throw a demo track your way --

Captain Captain Industries : "Department Party (Vox Demo)"

We'll get to cleaning up around the office eventually. 'til then, y'all.
Go Ducks!

100th Post! Captain Captain Industries Official Release of "On My Headband (The Captain)"

One-hundred posts, guys. That's pretty damn nice. Thanks to all of the readers, and our two newest official subscribers, Heath Morris and Jason Burkhardt. Thanks to all of the musicians we've featured -- I'm lookin' at you Lane Weaver, Purple Asteroid Cadillac, Abby Frerichs, The Olympics, and many of the other artists Captain Captain Industries has grown so fond of. Thanks to all who've made C.C.I. more than just some scrappy music blog.

In proper Industry fashion, we're releasing an official track to mark the one-hundredth post celebration. Originally manufactured for an introduction to our radio program (which is today, guys), "On My Headband" is a nifty little hip-hop instrumental that we hope to get some vocals written and recorded here in the near future. For now though, tell me what you all think -- we need some feedback on this one.
