GM Recall 2010

Well it looks like GM is joining Toyota on the recall side of things as the American auto company is looking at recalling over a million cars due to a power steering malfunction. Now GM says that the power steering screw up is not a safety concern as it only affects the vehicle when it is traveling at low rates of speed. The cars to be recalled are sold in the USA, Canada and Mexico and include 2005 to 2010 Chevrolet Cobalts, 2007 to 2010 Pontiac G5s, 2005 and 2006 Pontiac Pursuits sold in Canada and 2005 and 2006 Pontiac G4s sold in Mexico

Toyota Recall 2009

Toyota Motor Company is about to release a massive recall of their vehicles and it has to deal with the floor mats. Last month a driver in the San Diego called police to say that he could not brake his vehicle and that the accelerator was stuck. The vehicle ended up in a flaming crash that killed four people. The Toyota recall is believed to involve the following vehicles: 2007-2010 Camry, 2005-2010 Avalon, 2004-2009 Prius, 2005-2010 Tacoma, 2007-2010 Tundra, 2007-2010 Lexus ES 350 and 2006-2010 Lexus IS 250 and IS350. Toyota is asking all car owners of the before mentioned vehicles to not to wait for the recall and pull the driver's side floor mat.
