Emma Watson Quitting Brown University

Emma Watson is quitting Brown University to pursue an academic course not offered at the school, her spokeswoman has announced.

The spokeswoman, however, denied recent reports that the Harry Potter star was forced out of school because of bullying.

Emma, 21, was studying European women's history and drama at the Rhode Island Ivy League institution.

Last month, she announced her decision to take time off from the course to work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and attend to her other professional commitments.

A recent New York Daily News report suggested that Emma may have been unhappy at Brown University because she was not treated like a normal student. While answering questions in class, she would often be subject to jibes alluding to her role in Harry Potter.

A source told the New York Daily News: 'They would respond with a quote from Harry Potter. The most popular choice was, "Three points for Gryffindor!"'

Angelina Jolie Signs on as Face of Louis Vuitton for $10 Million

Angelina Jolie will feature in a worldwide print ad campaign for French fashion designer Louis Vuitton this summer.

A source tells E! Online that Jolie will be paid "close to $10 million" for the deal, the highest she has ever been paid for an endorsement.

Louis Vuitton generally advertises in high end magazines and billboards in cosmopolitan cities. In the past it has used Jennifer Lopez and Madonna in its advertisement campaigns.

Jolie was earlier the face of US luxury knitwear St. John from 2005 to 2008. When the brand launched its spring 2010 print advertising campaign with 30-year-old British model Karen Elson, St. John chief executive Glenn McMahon reportedly told Women's Wear Daily that Jolie "overshadowed the brand. We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette."

Jolie recently launched a jewelry line , The Style of Jolie, in collaboration with jewelry designer Robert Procop.

Profits from sales of the jewelry will go to the charity Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Abhishek taking a romantic break

Buzz is that the two are planning to take off on a romantic week-long holiday soon after Ash returns from Cannes next month and before Abhishek launches into his next project.Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will be celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary today. And while work commitments will be keeping Bachchan Jr busy in Hyderabad for the early part of the day, He will be flying home tonight to celebrate the evening with wife Ash.

Incidentally, Abhishek may not be able to attend the international film festival with Ash this time around. “Abhishek will be shooting in Russia for Players. And the 15-day long schedule will make it impossible for him to be by Aishwarya’s side at the red carpet event.They are running on a very tight schedule as it is. But, let’s see, they are still trying to work out the dates,” said a source.

Surprisingly, Aishwarya on her part too has not been accompanying Abhi on any of his promotional activities. But an insider insists that it is not like she is upset about not getting any time with hubby. “It’s just that she feels that her presence will prove to be a distraction. She wants the entire focus to be on Abhishek’s film alone,” said another source.

As for spending most of the day today away from Aishwarya, Abhi says, “Both Aishwarya and I understand the nature of our work. For both of us family does come first, but work commitments cannot be compromised either. Besides, every day with Aishwarya is special anyway.” He does admit that being under constant public scanner does come with its own pressures, but ‘nothing that we can’t handle’. “We may be actors, but we are like any other normal couple too. We never let the lines blur,” he smiles.

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is a direct-to video film and High School Musical spin-off starring Ashley Tisdale. The film looks at Sharpay Evans' life after her graduation as she struggles to get a role in a Broadway show.

The film was released as a Blu-ray and DVD combination pack on April 19.

Ashley has posed nude in Allure's annual naked truth feature. She is seen with her back and left side to the camera revealing her left breast partly and a Believe tattoo on her left shoulder blade.

Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra in Deol Packed Masters

Preity Zinta, last seen in a leading role in Heroes (2008), is expected to feature next in Masters, headlining Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.

In a recent interview, Preity had mentioned that she will soon start work on two Bollywood films.

According to the Mumbai Mirror, Zinta and Priyanka Chopra are expected to play headlining roles in the big budget 3D action thriller to be directed by Anil Sharma with a team of top notch Hollywood action directors.

As if the three Deols weren't enough of a wallop to pack in a single film, Sharma is also considering Abhay Deol for a lead role.

If Sharma succeeds in roping in Sunny and Bobby's cousin, it will be a first as Abhay didn't feature in Apne (2007) or Yamala Pagla Deewana (2010), the earlier films that cast Dharmendra with his two sons - Sunny and Bobby.

Masters was first announced in early 2008, following the box office success of Apne, but the project didn't take off and the Deol trio went on to make Yamla Pagla Deewana.

Masters will be reportedly shot on location in Las Vegas.

Aishwarya Rai to Walk Cannes Red Carpet for 10th Consecutive Year

Aishwarya Rai, 37, will walk the red carpet at the 64th Cannes Film Festival as L'Oreal brand ambassador for the 10th consecutive time this year.

The festival is scheduled to be held from 11 May to 22 May 2011.

Alas! This year Aishwarya will be sans doting husband Abhishek Bachchan.

"I can't go this year to Cannes with Aishwarya. We were there together last year to promote 'Raavan'. But this year I will be shooting in Russia that time," Bachchan, 35, says. [via PTI]

Abhishek, who will be in Russia for the filming of Abbas-Mustan's Players, will not just miss the Cannes Red Carpet with Aishwarya, he will also miss their fourth wedding anniversary on April 20.

But he is proud of Aishwarya, who has been a constant fixture at Cannes as L'Oreal ambassador since 2002, when she first walked the red carpet at the festival with her Devdas co-star Shah Rukh Khan's.

"I am very proud of her. I think she is the only Indian actress to have that," says Abhishek.

Jessica Simpson to Join Michelle Obama in Support of Military Families

Jessica Simpson will perform for military families in Denver, Co. on April 13, in the presence of First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden.

The First Lady and the Vice President's wife are launching a national initiative tomorrow to rally support for America's service members and their families.

As part of the initiative, they will embark on a two-day national tour to visit communities, businesses and nonprofits working to support military families.

Obama and Biden will kick off their tour by speaking to 3,000 military and family members at Camp Lejeune, N.C., on April 13. Later they will visit San Antonio and wrap the day at Rockies vs. Mets game at Coors Field in Denver, Co.

The Colorado Rockies and Coors Field has invited military families from across Colorado to a special viewing of the game.

Obama and Biden will speak to the families and participate in activities with them.

Jessica Simpson will be a special guest at the event along with the Air Force Academy baseball team, which will practice with military children.

Jessica who has toured overseas in support of US troops is elated over the opportunity to support Michelle Obama in her efforts.

"It's such an honor to join First Lady Michelle Obama as she kicks off her new initiative in support of our military & their families Wed!" she tweeted on Sunday.
