Rihanna and Ciara Make Up After Catfight

These two made nice after exchanging some heated words on Twitter (and on TV) this week.

The claws came out between Rihanna and Ciara this week, but it looks like the catfight is over between these singers. Both gals posted apologies on their Twitter pages today after some not-so-nice comments were exchanged earlier this week.

It all started when Ciara dished on RiRi on Fashion Police, saying:  "I ran into her recently at a party. She wasn't the nicest," she said. "It's crazy, because I've always loved and respected what she's done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in."

After catching wind of the jabs, Rihanna fought back on Twitter. She wrote: "My bad Ci, did I forget to tip you? #Howrudeofme," followed by "You gangsta huh? Ha."

Ciara fought back on Twitter, snapping: "Trust me Rihanna you don't want to see me on or off the stage."

Of course, Rihanna wouldn't let her have the last barb, and replied: "Good luck with bookin that stage you speak of." Burn!

But, Rihanna squashed the fight a little later, offering the olive branch to her fellow singer. "Ciara baby, I love you girl!" she Tweeted. "You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's why I retaliated this way! So sorry! Let's make up."

Ciara then wrote back: "Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let's chat in person>'

All's well that ends well, right?

Ciara May Have Been Dropped From Jive

After dismal sales for her fourth studio album, Basic Instinct, it is being reported that Ciara has been dropped from Jive Records.

Despite receiving strong reviews from critics the album has to date racked sales of around 40k… a far cry from her previous albums. The failure of the album was put down to poor timing, lack of promotion and poor singles. The only exception was the lead single “Ride” with Ludacris, which reached top-ten on the R&B charts.

Reports are now beginning to surface that Jive finally pulled the plug on Ciara. Insiders say the singer is a drain on label resources because she does not know her artistry and is unable to pin down a unique sound. One insider said that “the label would rather invest in someone like Chris Brown who is proving successful on multiple formats.”
Comments by Ciara to Gerrick Kennedy of the Los Angeles Times, were said to have angered label executives, especially when the singer said she wasn’t bothered about album sales but saw the future and money in touring.
Ciara and Jive executives are said to have reached mutual terms to end their partnership, effective immediately. The singer was seen at the offices of Universal Music recently, and is believed to now be negotiating a new record deal with Interscope Records which would hopefully catapult the singer back into the lime light.

Twitter Beef: 50 Cent & Ciara

It appears 50 Cent and Ciara are beefing on Twitter. It started last night when Fiddy tweeted he had just visited the Playboy mansion and he now wants to be a pimp. “I just left the play boy mansion. I think I want to be a pimp now. Sh*t I have strong pimp qualities. Lol…I’m looking for girls to start my new line of work. Are there any strong potential hoe’s on tweeter right now. Lol”
Shortly after Ciara Tweeted: “The things people tweet say a lot about their character, pay attention!:)” He then fired back: “Yea I tweet things that reflect my character b*tch. I have a sense of humor get one.lol that’s why your 3 mill followers behind me.” Ciara, who is about 3 million followers behind Fiddy, ended with: “ooohh, tell em why u mad b!” He has since unfollowed her on Twitter. Neither one used names in their Tweets, based on the timing, they were obviously throwing shots at each other. There has been rumors for years that these two have been secretly seeing each other. Now word on the street is that ever since he started hanging with Chelsea Handler, Ciara is done with him and is now seeing Amar’e Stoudemire.

Are Ciara And LeBron James Creeping?

Is Lebron James creeping around with Ciara? According to Carlton Jordan he is. LeBron James was spotted entering Maestros in Beverly Hills on Monday night alone…seconds later Ciara entered alone! Once inside the two ate together! Not only did they eat together, the lovebirds sat in the corner, very close to each other “touching foreheads and kissing”. At the end of the date Ciara exited the front, and LeBron slipped out the back avoiding the paparazzi! This would be a hot couple if they decide to take this thing public!!! The two are following each other on Twitter as well. But what about his baby mama? Are they still together? Were they on the creep?

Keri Hilson's 'No Boys Allowed' sold 102,000 copies in it's first week compared to Ciara and 'Basic Instinct''s measly 35,000. Rihanna held on to number 10 this week after selling 111,000 copies of Loud while Keyshia Cole debuted at # 9 selling 128,000 copies of 'Calling all Hearts'.

Ciara Has The Lowest First Week Sales Of Her Career

Ciara's latest album Basic Instinct debuted on the Billboard Charts at #43 pushing a measly 37,000. She was  projected to move only 35,000 so the album did slightly better than expected.
