With Tiago Splitter missing all of the preseason thus far, DeJuan Blair appears to have locked up the starting power forward spot in San Antonio.
The Breakdown
Blair put up great numbers in limited minutes last season and is in line to play a bigger role on the Spurs. Blair could be moved to the bench once Splitter returns to action, but Blair's impressive preaseason averages of 11.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 23.6 minutes could keep him in the starting line up permanently. Blair is a player to target late in drafts if you need help in rebounding, particularly offensive rebounding if that is a category of its own in your league. He is certainly living up to his billing as one of the top sleepers heading into the 2010-11 season.
