Robert J. Halderman also known as Joe Halderman has been arrested for trying to extort David Letterman. Robert (Joe) Halderman is a producer on the CBS show 48 Hours and was arrested after he received a phony $2 million dollar check from David Letterman. Halderman threatened Letterman about bringing forward a number of sexual relationships that David has had with staff members from CBS over the years.
