Get Google To Index Your Site Fast And Free

Get Google To Index Your Site Fast And Free

After spending a number of hours creating your picture perfect website it is time for the next step which is to get it listed online so potential readers can find you. There are a number of people who offer to get your website submitted to Google and other major search engines for a fee but to be honest it is a waste of money. The problem is if you wait for Google to find you it may take several weeks before you are added to the index but thankfully you have me to help speed up the process.

1. Google Webmaster Tools - Every Google account comes a series of useful website tools that Google is kind enough to pass along. Something as simple as submitting a site map can speed up the process of getting your site indexed. There are a ton of free site map generators available on the web that will help you along with the process.

2. Submit An Article To Digg Or Buzz - By simply submitting one of your recent articles can quickly move your site to the front of the line. What I have found that works really well is after you submit your article to than ping the location to Google and one of the many other websites. For example www.digg.com/get-google-to-index-your-site and this tends to work very well. A great ping tool is http://pingoat.com/

3. Leave Comments On Popular Sites - This is really easy to do and not only will it help Google find your pages faster it is also a great way to build up traffic. If Google sees a ton of back links going into a site it will move that particular blog to the front of the line and into their index.

4. Submit Your Website Directly To Google - Sounds kind of funny but it amazes me how many people do not head over to Google and submit their website. It takes about four seconds to complete the form and the chances of a faster index greatly improves. The address to submit your website to Google is http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl . Do yourself a favor and head over to Bing as well: http://www.bing.com/docs/submit.aspx

5. Participate On A Forum
- If you already participate on one of the bazillion forums that are on the web just change your signature link to your new site and you are on your way. If you feel that your site is strong in design and is full of compelling content a majority of internet marketing blogs offer a site review where fellow peers on the forum take a look at your site and tell you what they think. Pinging the forum address of your post also helps.

On an average my sites or blogs tend to be indexed by Google within 72 hours and sometimes as fast as six hours. Once your in the index your latest articles can appear within minutes. For example I run a news blog and new items will show up in Google Trends in a matter of minutes and in a dozen or so minutes will appear in Google Search.
