Houston Rockets center Yao Ming expected to return this past Tuesday, but he hasn't even been allowed to practice this week. His return date remains up in the air. The Rockets have been extremely cautious with Yao and don't want him on the court until he's 100%. They've even been limiting him in practice just to be on the safe side.
The Breakdown
When you combine the injury risk, limited minutes when he's actually playing, and the fact that he'll miss back-to-backs, it's a wonder 40% of fantasy owners still have him on their roster. Unless you're in a deep league, do yourself a favor and drop Yao. In the five games he's played this season, he's only averaging 10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks. We don't see the numbers improving much more than that as injuries have derailed Yao's career.
