Carrie Underwood  mesmerized in a purple, back baring Jean Fares gown at the 2011 Academy  Of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas on  Sunday, April 3.  The floor length gown was pleated along the neckline with sequined racer back straps and jeweled embellishments on sides.
Carrie accessorized with Dana Davis heels and exquisite Sutra jewels - oversized oval earrings and a ring on her right hand.    Her barbie doll  hair was  styled with an off center parting; large waves draped her shoulders.  She wore brown smokey eye makeup, nude lip color, and a high wattage  smile!   The 28-year-old songstress and American Idol judge Steven Tyler  performed her hit song "Undo It" and Steven's classic "Walk This Way"  during the Awards ceremony.   She wore an alice + olivia custom dress during her performance. Carrie will debut her  acting carrier with Soul Surfer due in theaters on April 8. The Sean  McNamara directed film is the real life story of champion surfer Bethany  Hamilton, who lost her left arm in a shark attack when she was 13 years  old.   Carrie plays a church youth leader who comforted and counseled Bethamy after the attack.   The 46th Annual ACM Awards were hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton.
