Charlie Sheen's Torpedo of Truth Turns Back on Him in Detroit

Charlie Sheen's first tour stop in Detroit on April 2 turned out to be disaster. The audience initially cheered Sheen, but then went on to boo him. As many started to walk out the lights were turned on inside the Fox Theater.

The booing started with the show's opening act, stand up comic Kirk Fox, came on stage at around 8:35 PM.

Warlock Sheen came on to the stage to calm the audience.

"This man is here to help, let him do so," Sheen reasoned. "I gotta change and do my hair. I'll be right back."

The boos returned as soon as Sheen left.

Sheen took the stage half an hour later in a tiger jersey and the crowd calmed down.

Initially, Sheen's act was met with cheers but 20-30 min into his performance booing returned. When it began to get ugly, Sheen asked Simon Rex on stage to rap, but that didn't help matters.

Snoop Dog was a no show at the event, but his new track Winning that he recorded for Charlie, helped calm the restless audience for some time.

Eventually, people started to leave and the audience started to thin.

Sheen remained defiant telling a booing fan, "Sorry dude, already got your money."
