The Dallas Mavericks and swingman Corey Brewer have come to terms on a multi-year deal. Brewer became available after the New York Knicks bought out his contract after acquiring him in the Carmelo Anthony trade.
The Breakdown
It's unclear where Brewer will fit on a deep Mavericks roster. He'll likely fill a reserve role playing both shooting guard and small forward. He'll have to compete with Rodrigue Beaubois, J.J. Barea, and Peja Stojakovic for minutes, so we don't expect him to have much of an impact in fantasy. He's only worth a look in the deepest of leagues unless he's able to crack the 20-minute mark on a regular basis.
