Most Added: February 1-7
- Marcin Gortat (7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1 block 55.9% FG%): As we've recently noted, Gortat is playing the best ball of his career. Fantasy owners are obviously taking notice as he's been the most added player this week. Gortat is a player who could certainly keep up this high level of play for the rest of the year, so he's must own if he's available in your league.
- Amir Johnson (10.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, 59.6% FG%, 80.6% FT%): Johnson was the hottest player in the NBA over the last two weeks, but he's been a fairly consistent fantasy contributor all season long. Much like Gortat, we expect Amir to keep up the production for the rest of the season although the upcoming return of Reggie Evans could potentially put a dent in his value. We also recommend picking him up if he's unowned.
- Ersan Ilyasova (9.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 89% FT%): Ilyasova is another hot player that fantasy owners are jumping all over. Although Ersan is playing well, we don't expect him to have big games consistently. He's worth picking up as a speculative addition in standard formats, but we wouldn't hesitate to drop him if he has a stretch of poor play.
- Anthony Morrow (12.9 points, 1.9 three-pointers, 90.2% FT%): Morrow returned from injury a few weeks ago and picked up where he left off. He's back scoring in double digits and hitting the long ball. Those in need of a sharpshooter or who need a boost to their free throw percentage should give Morrow a strong look.
- Tracy McGrady (7.9 points, 3.3 assists): T-Mac is having a career resurgence in Detroit. He's scored in double figures in seven straight games and he's back to being a nightly triple double threat who can contribute in every single category. He appears to have secured the starting point guard spot and he's playing big minutes. We've been calling him a must own for weeks, but only now are fantasy owners starting to jump on his bandwagon. Get him on your roster if he's a free agent in your league, but continue to monitor his health because of his injury history.
