Hot Streaks: February 19

Five players that have been playing well over the last couple of weeks. Stats listed below are from the last 15 days.

1. Ramon Sessions (18.9 points, 8.9 assists, 2.1 steals, 58.4% FG%, 87.2% FT%): Sessions has continued to be one of the NBA's hottest players even with the recent return of Mo Williams. He capped off this week with a season-high 32 points against the Lakers. In that game Williams left after just 3 minutes, though the Cavaliers are stating it was not due to injury. Sessions appears to be worth holding onto in case Williams is forced to miss time again, though the All Star Weekend gives Mo plenty of time to recover. Even if Williams is ready to go, Sessions may still continue to hold value coming off the bench. He's a player we'll continue to monitor.
2. Rudy Fernandez (15.3 points, 2.6 three-pointers, 1.7 steals, 95% FT%): Fernandez is another player who's managed to stay hot, though we're still not sure if he'll be worth holding onto when Brandon Roy gets back on the court. He's a nice pick up in the short term while he's playing so well, but you'll have to keep a close eye on his minutes and production when Roy is in the line up getting regular minutes.
3. Landry Fields (10.8 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 56.8% FG%): As it's been all season, Fields quietly put together some great all-around performances over the last two weeks with a 25-point, 10-rebound game mixed in. We've felt he's been a must own since early in the season, but many players have largely ignored Landry's fantasy value even though he's on New York's uptempo team. Pick him up if he's available in your league.
4. Courtney Lee (13.4 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 1 steal, 56.5% FG%, 85.7% FT%): Courtney had a couple of games over 20 points in the last week, which got him on our radar. He's starting to see more minutes off the bench, but we'll need to see some consistent minutes and production before giving him more consideration. At this point, he's only worth a speculative addition in deep leagues.
5. Josh McRoberts (10.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 69.2% FG%): McRoberts has quietly started to play well again, topping off this past week with his first double-double of the season. McRoberts doesn't get a lot of attention because, like Fields, he contributes a little bit across the board. Josh is a player we like in standard formats as long as he continues to start and see over 25 minutes a night.
