Attempting the College Coach in the Pro World for the 400th Time

Harbaugh will try to not be put in the category
of failed college to pro head coaches
Jim Harbaugh decided to stay on the West Coast but he received a serious pay raise. rHe will be making five million a year coaching the San Francisco 49ers, and here goes another experiment with college coaches heading to the NFL.

I think it will work this time because Harbaugh comes from a good coaching family, and he has that 'it' factor to be a great one. Also let's not forget his brother John is a widely successful coach with the Baltimore Ravens, and bet your ass, he will be giving Jim pointers for how to handle men instead of boys. I truly believe Harbaugh will be able to revive Alex Smith's career. Mike Singletary screwed around with his head way too much for a young quarterback and Smith could do some things in a west coast system.

The other thing that had to be appealing to Harbaugh was the NFC West. A division that just witnessed a 7-9 team taking the division. Harbaugh knows damn the division is easier to win than Snooki after a night out in Seaside Heights. This is also why Miami wasn't a good choice with the Patriots still being great, and the Jets will be habitually in the playoffs. Harbaugh has a playoff-ready football team right now. I had the Niners in the playoffs this season along with everybody else. Not to mention, we get to relive this sort of stuff with the Seahawks-Niners.

A quick note on Michigan, it was the right choice for him to try out the NFL.  Michigan might be there for him later on in life, who knows if the NFL will.  Harbaugh may never step foot at a college campus again, but you never know. In my opinion, I am very confident more than usual that this college coach will be successful and it will be quicker than you think.
